Spotlight: Mr. Tanay Gavankar

Meet Tanay Gavankar. Tanay was one of my earlier black belts, starting as a young man in 2003.
He went to school at Carnegie Mellon and interned summers at Google in California.
After college Tanay joined the Google team permanently working for years on the Google Maps team, creating directions for millions of people.
Today, Tanay resides in the Seattle area near Google’s Seattle Campus, training remotely every class possible.
He credits his success to his family, hard work, and self-discipline, a trait he has improved on through his training at Kanzen Gojuryu.
